Connie Casson-
Heartland Oncology and Hematology, Clinic Manager Connie Casson is a 1972 graduate of Jennie Edmundson School of Nursing. She acquired her certification in Oncology in 1990 and her BSN in 1992 from Midlands Lutheran College.
Connie was employed at Jennie Edmundson Hospital from 1972-1999. She worked most of this time as an assistant head nurse on a Neurology/Oncology floor. She also started and was responsible for an outpatient chemotherapy clinic. In 1999, she accepted a position at Heartland Oncology and Hematology as a clinic Manager where she is currently employed.
Connie is married and has one son. |

John Edwards, President -
Key Real Estate, Co-owner/ Broker He is a Council Bluffs native and has been a Realtor for 23 years. He is married to Marsha and has seven children, three boys and four girls. He coaches basketball and soccer. He likes to ride motocross and dirt bikes with his kids. He also holds a position of Elder in the Community of Christ Church.

Dr. Al Fouche
Internal Medicine Dr. Fouche is a medical school graduate of Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He did his Internal Medicine Residency and Family Medicine Internship in Columbus, OH. He was active duty in the Air Force from 2002-2005. He has practiced in the Midwest for about 6 1/2 years and is currently practicing in Bellevue, NE. He is married to Sarah and currently lives in Glenwood, Iowa. |

Gordon Hartman -
Manager, Management Recruitment, Union Pacific Railroad Gordon is a native of Denver, CO and currently employed with Union Pacific Railroad. He is a retired Naval Officer having served over 24 years in the aviation community on Whidbey Island Washington State. He is married to Janet who is also an active part of Hospice with Heart as a volunteer. They have 2 children. He has held several previous volunteer Troop and District leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America and enjoys studying history, sports and cycling, and other outdoor activities. He is a member of the US Navy League, the Disabled American Veterans, and other service groups.

Diane McGrain, Treasurer-
CPA -Schroer and Associates, PC. Diane is a partner at Schroer & Associates, P.C., where she specializes in government and nonprofit auditing and income taxes return preparation and planning. She is a graduate of Iowa State University and earned her accounting accreditation from Buena Vista University. She is married to Dan and has two children.

Dawn Stane, RN, CHPN-
Hospice with Heart, Director and Co-Founder She is a Council Bluffs native. She has been a nurse for several years with the majority of them being in the hospice field. She incorporated Hospice with Heart in November, 2004 and is currently the Director of Operations for the company. She is married to Darren and has triplet daughters. Dawn received her certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing in November, 2009.

Krista Vanderpool, Secretary -
Dial Capital, Loan Administration Krista is a Council Bluffs native and has worked for different branches of The Dial Companies in Omaha, NE, since September of 1989. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has one son, Brett, who attends Lewis Central High School. She spends her spare time attending all the various sporting events that her son and nieces participate in.

Phil Warren, Vice-President-
Hospice with Heart Volunteer After graduating from Iowa State University, Phil joined Western Electric (the manufacturing unit of the Bell System) where he held a variety of Senior Management positions for forty years before he retired. Phil is past President of the Nebraska Logistics Council, the membership committee of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and the Glen Haven Nursing Home. While on the Glen Haven board, Phil was very involved in adding an Assisted Living facility to the Glen Haven campus. He is active in several local organizations and looks forward to being a part of Hospice with Heart's future growth. He and his wife, Peggy, make their home in Glenwood, Iowa, where they have always lived.
