Opportunities for Giving

Every gift is important and will help us fulfill our mission of providing exceptional care and support to all the people who are facing end-of-life issues. Hospice with Heart is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 company. All donations are tax-deductible. Following is a list of gift types for your consideration:

• General donations-an unrestricted cash gift to support the mission of Hospice with Heart.

• Memorial Donations for a loved one to be desingated for a specific use or for general use.

• Care Scholarship Program, "A Place to Die" for those who are un-insured, under-insured and/or have not funds for end-of-life care.

• Pet Therapy Program to pay for specialized training and certification of volunteer's pets for the Pet Therapy Program.

• Hospice House donations

• Specialized equipment needs for the Hospice House and/or main office.

• Hospice with Heart "Pet Peace of Mind Program" to assist with the cost of pet food, cat litter, routine veterinary visits for vaccinations of Hospice patient's pets when they need assistance in caring for their pets as our goal is to keep patients and their beloved pets together as long as possible.

Bequests

A gift to Hospice with Heart from the donor's estate. Provides estate tax deduction which may reduce or, in some cases, eliminate estate taxes.

Gifts of Life Insurance

You may name Hospice with Heart as a beneficiary on your policy or you may make an outright gift to Hospice with Heart and purchase a policy to replace the value of the gift.
