Hospice House

Hospice with Heart has been providing quality end of life care services to Southwestern Iowa residents since 2004. In 2009, we added a Hospice House to our list of services available to our patients. Our Hospice House is located in Glenwood, Iowa.

The hospice house is designed to help patients facing a life limiting illness who have no care-giver, have no home, have uncontrollable symptoms that cannot be cared for by family members or friends, do not want to go to a nursing home, do not want to die in their own home, or need respite care.

The hospice house facility provides eight private patient rooms and many other amenities of "home" for the patient and their families.

The house not only offers environmental comfort at end of life but offers the specialized care of the Hospice with Heart staff 24 hours a day. The Hospice with Heart Hospice House has opened its doors at 357 Indian Hills Drive, Glenwood, Iowa.

Hospice with Heart continues to look at Southwestern Iowa to help provide the resources to keep the house and grounds updated and to assist those individuals unable to pay for room and board. A donation to the hospice house whether it is monetary, furnishings or time will ensure that people with a life limiting illness will have a choice on how to spend their last days.
