Hospice services are reimbursed through various resources such as Medicare, Medicaid, private and supplemental insurance. The services that are listed here are covered by an individual’s Hospice Medicare Benefit at 100%.

Hospice with Heart believes so strongly about the provision of hospice and palliative care services that no one will be turned away due to an inability to pay.

• Hospice House (coming soon in 2009)
• Medications and treatments related to patient's terminal diagnosis
• Durable Medical Equipment (i.e. hospital bed, walker, oxygen, etc.)
• Nursing services
• 24 hour on-call nurse
• Social work services
• Chaplain services, hospice aide services
• Volunteers
• Bereavement services for up to 13 months following the death of a loved one
• In-patient respite care at an approved facility for up to 5 days
• Comfort Touch
• Acute continuous care
• Dietician services
• Physical, occupational and speech therapies
• Massage Therapy through Advanced Therapeutic Massage with Tiffany Schreck, LMT
• Continuous care in a patient's home in an acute crisis
• Short stay in-patient care at an approved facility to treat out-of-control symptoms which are unable to be managed at home

We believe we are not solely charged with the care of the terminally ill patient but also the family members and loved ones as they are extensions of that patient. Hospice with Heart exists with the hope and belief that through appropriate "quality" care and being surrounded by a caring community who is sensitive to the needs of the terminally ill and their loved ones, the dying patient will be able to reach the levels of emotional, mental, and spiritual preparation prior to death that meets their needs and allows them peace.
